25th APRIL

For over century, every year in
Australia and New Zealand,
on  the 25th of April we remember and commemorate the courage and sacrifices of the service men and women who have fought and given their lives for freedom.

Despite being on the other side of the world, here in Antibes, on the French Riviera,
we continue this important tradition by inviting all Australians, New Zealanders, Irish, British and French to a unique, international and official ANZAC Day Ceremony.

See below for details of our 2022 Dawn service
at the Fort Carré, Antibes.

Join us for the 10th annual ANZAC Day ceremony in Antibes;

the only official ceremony in the South of France.

This year ANZAC Day falls on Monday 25th April, the day that everyone goes back to school

and work after the Easter School holidays and the day after the 2nd round of the French Presidential elections.

For these reasons we are organising an English-language commemoration at

5:30am, Monday 25th April at the Fort Carré.

The ceremony will be followed by a breakfast at The Duke.

This will enable participants to go straight to school or work from the venue.

Keeping the ANZAC spirit alive through our children

10:00am, Sunday 24th April at The Duke

In addition to the Dawn ceremony, we will be organising a "kids club" also to be held at The Duke. Aimed at primary school-aged children we will be organising fun, educational activities explaining the importance of remembering those who have and continue to protect our freedom.

Activities such as paper flower and wreath making, colouring, quizzes etc will be provided.
A Sunday lunch will be available from midday.

With a brutal war raging in Europe, now more than ever it’s time to educate our children, remember, commemorate and let those ANZAC values shine through – mateship, compassion, endurance, ingenuity, good humour and courage.

Lest We Forget.
