From the very outset, the Mayor’s Office of Antibes Juan-les-Pins has supported us in our endeavours to create an ANZAC Day Ceremony in the heart of Antibes. Fully appreciative of the large and growing expatriate community within their town, they have been more than welcoming and supportive.

We are sincerely thankful for…

• The presence of representatives of the Mayor’s Office at our ceremonies, in particular, the consistent participation of Colonel Gerard Lacoste welcoming all nationalities to Antibes.

• Allowing us to use the impressive grounds of the Fort Carré, providing lighting, electricity, secure parking and staff (from 4:30am).

• The input from their Event and Protocol team, providing invaluable experience in helping us organise an Antipodean ceremony in France.

• The presence of the technical team, setting-up the sound system, podium, seating and protection from the elements.

Without the full support of the Mayor of Antibes Juan-les-Pins, ANZAC Day in Antibes would not be possible.
