ANZAC Day in Antibes is back in 2026

After a couple of years of absence due to a lack of man power, ANZAC Day in Antibes is back in 2026 under new guidance.

The Provence-Monaco branch of the Royal British Legion has taken on the task going forward of organising ANZAC Day ceremonies in Antibes. The Provence-Monaco Branch (BR3473) of the Royal British Legion proudly serves the British and Commonwealth community across the south of France and Monaco. Committed to supporting veterans and their families, the branch fosters remembrance and camaraderie through events, fundraising, and outreach. With a strong local presence and international spirit, we honour the past while building meaningful connections within our vibrant expatriate and military community. This year, 2026, there will be 2 ceremonies as ANZAC Day falls on a Saturday and during the last weekend of the local school holidays. DAWN CEREMONY In true Aussie and Kiwi tradition, the intimate Dawn ceremony will be held at 5:30am as the sun rises over the Mediterranean Sea. What better way of connecting to community, reaching out to fellow Antipodeans and / or teaching your children about the history and culture of their ancestors. BREAKFAST In true ANZAC spirit we will be reuniting around the breakfast table at Square Sud Café on the Place de Générale de Gaulle, 20 minutes walking distance from the Fort Carré. Bring your Vegemite and ANZAC Biscuits to share. MAIN CEREMONY At 10:30am the Main Ceremony will begin back at the Fort Carré. For those of you who couldn't get out of bed, the Antibes Town Hall will be partnering the local branch of the Royal British Legion in the organisation of the fully bilingual Main ceremony.
